Our Wineries
A couple hundred metres away from the 1908 Vineyard is Auswan’s boutique Cellar door and recently upgraded state of the art 250 tonne boutique winery. This winery is where the processes of many of our high-end iconic products begin, where the pristine 1908 vineyard grapes are transformed to exceptional wines.


Since 2005, McLaren Vintners has been situated in the sought after wine region of Mclaren Vale. Partnering with many wine brands, their excellence in winemaking is reflected by their impressive record of Trophies and loyal clients.
Every wine in our building has a winemaker who will tend it throughout its journey from receival to bottling. Our winery has been constructed to ensure our customers can always expect the extra attention to detail that eludes the more industrial processors.
We forge great working partnerships with consultant winemakers. We make their lives easier. At McLaren Vintners, we offer a vast range of ferment options. We can, for example, press whole white bunches. We can crush, destem or both. We have enormous chilling capacity – enough to chill 10,000 tonnes. We can manage cold soaks, cold stabilization and cold storage. We can warm too. Our temperature control is accurate and reliable.
We can do reds in small batches, in open fermenters, in eight different sizes of rotaries, or static closed tanks. You name it, we’ve got the fermenter for you. All our new tanks double as fermentation vessels. Extended ferments? How long would you like?

Our winery operations are supported by access to large‑scale production facilities, enabling us to coordinate and oversee the full winemaking process—from crushing and fermentation through to final wine preparation for bottling. These capabilities allow us to service a broad network of customers with consistency and efficiency.
Our services include detailed pre‑vintage grape assessment, advanced laboratory analysis, and comprehensive wine management throughout the production cycle.
Behind these capabilities is a passionate winemaking team, supported by approximately 45 experienced technical and operational staff. The team remains dedicated to the craft, working closely with local growers to transform high‑quality grapes into well‑crafted wines.
Each year, the facilities we work with collectively process approximately 25,000 to 40,000 tonnes of fruit. which is equivalent to around 18 to 29 million litres of wine reflecting our ability to meet customer demand while maintaining strong quality standards across all programs.
